Accident claims question:

my son catapulted off a see saw in local park and suffered some injuries to his face an lost teeth the council say he should off been supervised but i was there the reason he had such bad injuries was the centre of the see saw was metal and not cushioned do i have a claim

This looks difficult. I would not say the fact that the centre was metal would be enough on its own. Was it a particularly strong spring on the see-saw? Have any other people had similar problems? If it is your local park, you could perhaps ask other mums & dads when you are there, or put up a request for information poster.

I agree with Bill's comment however I would also add the query - was there a properly secured hand grip ? This is a common safety feature on Seesaws and allows the children using them to hold on safely so that there is less chance of being catapulted forward as in your son's accident. If it was missing or not part of the design then this may be a better argument than the centre of the seesaw being metal.
