You might want to look at your business insurance, or other insurance policies that may include legal protection. You should also look at any memberships to organisations that may include a degree of legal assistance. I've been told the Federation of Small Businesses have a scheme if you're a member.

Any solicitor who deals with dispute resolution should explore potential avenues of assistance with legal costs (including considering any legal insurance policies), although they may charge you an initial fee for a consultation to consider whether any such help is available.

One of my colleagues is an employment litigation expert if you are local to us.

Hope this helps.
