Planning law question:

If a fence is not exactly on the boundary line which has been proven by a suveyor and meighbours are demanding that fence is the boundary, and after putting a fence in the correct place can the neighbours take you to court for this small piece of land?

Yes, they can take you court but of course that does not mean that they will win.

Boundary disputes can be quite complex and the Court will look at all of the evidence that is presented to them. If you have a surveyor's report and other evidence, then of course you generally stand a good prospect of defending any claim that they should try to bring
