You are entitled to get access to any paperwork/details from your solicitor file. All you need to do is ring or write to your solicitor requesting the information.
If you are intending on going to another firm and want a copy of your file, it is usual for the new firm to get you to sign a form of authority allowing transfer of the file and they will then contact the old solicitor but there is nothing to stop you asking for a copy of your file and they should oblige.
