Suing question:

My local hospital has lost a pair of spectacles belonging to my mother in law. They refuse to accept liability as they say there are notices pinned up as to handing property in to staff for safe keeping. The patient was bed ridden and the only persons to move the property were staff (other patients?) It is not practical to keep handing over the item to staff one minute and then request them back the next when referring to spectacles as they are constantly being used on and off during the day
