Buying a flat or house question:

A developer is knocking down the house next door to me and building three houses. Where can I get advice on what rights I have while he is developing the site?

You could try your local authority, as it is generally free. Often, there are conditions on planning permission about development and if you have a problem due to noise, dust etc, then the Environmental Health Officer might be able to help. If you have an issue about other things such as access or rights over land, you might need to take some legal advice. Most High Street firms should be able to help you.
