If your husband is declared bankrupt then his interest in the matrimonial home will pass to his trustee in bankruptcy (the person appointed by the court to deal with your husband's business affairs and debts). Your own interest in the property will not be affected. You will have 12 months from the date your husband was made bankrupt to negotiate with the trustee and possibly buy the property outright. You must get urgent advice from an expert.
